History
Castle Awan, Tonk was formerly a lavish palace. This palace was built in the 15th century. Once ruled by Bundi’s Salim Singh Hada, Castle Awan offered accommodation to the royal persons of other states who came to Sawai Madhopur. Today, this palace is a much admired heritage hotel in Tonk.
